Media and publishing, including the web

The purpose of the project is two-sided – both to monitor the overall publishing environment’s exercise of its own social responsibility and quality assurance, and to follow up on the public framework for editorial practice.

This involves following up on the consequences of changes in the financial framework for mass media, books and movies. Other tasks include new economic models which wipe out the distinction between advertising and editorial content, netiquette and work against hate speech in internet debates.

Annette Groth is the leader. Kjersti Løken Stavrum is the board’s representative in the group, other members are Edmund Austigard and Thomas Spence.
