A review of the indictment against journalists Can Dündar and Erdem Gül
“No cohesive and structured narrative”
“As with so many indictments analysed by others who have produced reports for the PEN Norway project there is endless repetition, idealistic and academic theorising, and the expounding of conspiracy theories about Turkey and its reputation with the wider world but there is no cohesive and structured narrative linking the suspects with any factual basis on which they could reasonably be regarded as having committed the crimes they are charged with,” said Tony Fisher, who wrote the article.
