What’s happening with the Georgian democracy? We invite you to look back at one year of protests, civil courage and recilience in the country.
One year after thousands of Georgians first took to the streets protesting the government, we welcome you to this event – reflecting upon the path forward for democracy and freedom of expression in Georgia.
This last year, the Georgian government has attacked the opposition and the press, altered laws and arrested peaceful protesters. This, alongside its increased influence from Russia, has challenged the Georgian Democracy. But the protests continue. We look back at 365 days of protests, civil courage and peaceful opposition – and ask: What now, Georgia?

The event is a collaboration between PEN Norway, Kreba Georgisk forening i Norge, The Norwegian Helsinki Committee and Be:long.
