Protest letters
PEN Norway supports writers, artists, journalists, publishers, editors and others who are imprisoned or subjected to persecution and harassment.
We protest against all forms of abuse of power, torture, harassment, threats and persecution against the person in question, and their families, by appealing to the authorities in the relevant country.
PEN Norway does not take a position on political issues, but ask the authorities to ensure that the person in question receives a fair verdict, legal assistance, medical supervision and family visits.
